DIRECTOR OF ACADEMICS
Dr. Friday Anderson Jumbe In conjunction with the HoD and Faculty Executive, is responsible to develop and implement a strategy and plan in relation to the area of academic and project leadership ensuring its alignment with Millennium University, Faculty and Departmental KPIs and objectives.
As a Senior Lecturer in banking and finance in the department of Social Sciences Dr. Jumbe holds a PhD in Business Administration, a Bachelors degree from the University of Malawi ,Chancellor college. He obtained a post graduate diploma in project planning and appraisal from University of Bradford and obtained a Masters of Science degree in Finance and Banking for Development from Finafrica in Milan, Italy. A former Minister of Finance and Economic Planning with distinguished career in the corporate world where he held several CEO positions and headed boards of large corporations including Illovo Sugar Corporation, National Bank of Malawi, Auction Holdings Ltd and Finance Corporation of Malawi.
